Face-to-face counselling

Face-to-face counselling provides you the opportunity to share/explore your thoughts, feelings, problems or difficulties in your life with a trained counsellor, in person, on a regular basis and in confidence. It’s up to you how much counselling you would like to receive as we provide long and short term counselling.

We offer longer term counselling and time limited (short term) counselling and you are not expected to undertake any long term counselling commitment. If you do choose to finish working with your counsellor, then it may be useful to allow some session time to discuss this.

Feeling nervous or anxious about having counselling is normal and we are available to address any questions or concerns you may have. Our aim is to *allocate a counsellor to you quickly and efficiently.

Fees/Charges

Face-to-face counselling fees are between £20 and £45 per session dependant upon your ability to pay and the time duration of the session. There is a set fee of £40 for your first face-to-face counselling session (no concessions available) as this session can last up to 90 minutes. Subsequent sessions are normally held on a weekly basis.

You can either bring your payment with you to your session(s), or you may pre-pay online using our secure server. Please make cheques payable to i counselling ltd and if paying by cash please ensure that you have the correct amount with you as our counsellors do not carry cash.
